On June 21, 2024, Deputy Chairperson of the National Commission, Zhuldyzai Iskakova, conducted a working visit to the Almaty Region. During the visit, a meeting was held on reproductive health issues with the participation of members of the regional commission, representatives of the regional health and education departments. The participants discussed the state of the field and preparations for the week dedicated to reproductive health.
Meetings were held with the First Deputy Akim of the region, the Chairperson of the Commission on Women's Affairs and Family-Demographic Policy under the Akim of Almaty Region, Abdrakhim N.E., and with active youth of the city of Konaev. Visits were also made to hospitals and youth health centers in the city of Konaev and Karasai district.
These field activities were conducted in the framework of Reproductive Health Week, which takes place in Kazakhstan from June 24 to 28, 2024, under the aegis of The National Commission on Women and Family, Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan
The objectives of creating conditions for the protection of reproductive health of men and women are laid out in the Concept of Family and Gender Policy Development until 2030, approved by the President of the country, K.K. Tokayev.
