1. General Provisions
1. As part of the celebration of International Women's Day (March 8), Astana will host an exhibition of the best women's projects called "Woman - Creator".
2. The best projects will be selected from all over Kazakhstan in 10 nominations with a social focus.
3. The participants of the competition are women and women's public associations implementing socially significant projects in the territory of Kazakhstan.
4. The organizer of the selection is the National Commission for Women's Affairs and Family and Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
5. The competition for the selection of the best projects is held for the purpose of their presentation at the republican event on the eve of International Women's Day and their further promotion.

2. Competition commission
6. To conduct the selection of social projects, central and regional competition commissions are created.
7. Regional competition commissions are created from among the employees of the local executive body and members of the regional commissions for women's affairs and family and demographic policy in the amount of 5 people.
8. The Central Competition Commission is formed from among the members of the National Commission and representatives of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the amount of 5 people.
9. Commissions take decisions by open voting, by a majority vote of its members participating in the meeting, considering the following criteria:
  •  relevance of the project (from 1 to 5 points)
  •  social significance of the project (from 1 to 5 points);
  •  achieved results of the project (from 1 to 5 points)
  •  scope of the project (from 1 to 5 points).

3. Competition nominations
11. The competition is held in 10 nominations:
Nomination 1. The best project in the field of agribusiness.
Nomination 2. Best IT project.
Nomination 3. The best project in the field of creative industry.
Nomination 4. The best project in the field of new media (media, social networks).
Nomination 5. The best project in the field of protecting the rights of women and children.
Nomination 6. The best project in the field of inclusive development.
Nomination 7. The best project in the field of science and innovation.
Nomination 8. Active human rights activist in the field of protecting the rights of women and children.
Nomination 9. The best woman - the head of the enterprise.
Nomination 10. The best NGO in the field of women's rights.

4. The order of the competition
12. The competition is held in two stages - regional and republican.
13. At the regional stage, the commissions together with local executive bodies:
  •  organize the reception and processing of applications;
  •  ensure the preparation of a package of documents for the work of the tender committee;
  •  ensure the organization of the meeting of the competition commission and the determination of the best projects in each nomination;
  •  send to the Central Commission 1 project for each of the 7 nominations for participation in the republican stage with a package of documents (questionnaire, photo / video materials, annotation for the author of the project) and minutes of the meeting of the regional competition commission.
14. At the republican stage of the competition, the Commission:
• Determines one project from among the received proposals from the regions for each of the 10 nominations.
• The authors of selected projects are invited to the exhibition presentation of projects.

5. Deadlines for the stages of competitive selection:

• Acceptance of applications and examination of projects by regional commissions - until February 23, 2023.
• Submission of selected projects to the Central Commission - until February 24, 2023.
• Examination and selection of projects by the Central Commission - until February 28, 2023.
• Notification of winners and preparation of projects for presentation - until March 1, 2023.
• Presentation of projects in Astana - March 6, 2023.
