A team from Astana IT University, led by Zarina Kutpanova, a member of the non-profit organization "TechnoWomen" and co-leader of the "TechnoWomen Astana" chapter, captured gold at the international "Belt and Road" Entrepreneurship Competition held in Xi’an, China, from October 26 to November 2, 2024. The competition initially saw over 6,000 entries, with 579 projects from 14 countries making it to the finals, including teams from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Iran, UAE, Japan, New Zealand, the UK, India, Russia, and China.
