May 14, within the framework of National Reproductive Health Week, has been designated as Men’s Health Day in Kazakhstan. The initiative aims to challenge outdated stereotypes and remind the public that men’s health is just as vital for family well-being as women’s health.
Despite this, many men still seek medical attention only as a last resort. However, regular screenings and consultations with urologists, andrologists, and general practitioners are essential for the early detection and prevention of numerous conditions — including chronic inflammation, hormonal imbalances, and reproductive disorders.
Today, free consultations, health screenings, lectures, and webinars are being held across the country with the participation of leading medical professionals. The campaign has also been joined by athletes, public figures, and opinion leaders, who are sharing personal stories and emphasizing one key message: true strength lies in the ability to care for oneself and one’s family.
Men’s health is not a taboo, but a cornerstone of longevity, active fatherhood, and lasting family harmony.
Taking mature, responsible care of oneself is ultimately a contribution to the health of the next generation.
