Member of the National Commission Zhuldyz Suleimenova Appointed Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan

By decree of the Head of State, Zhuldyz Suleimenova, member of the National Commission for Women Affairs, Family and Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, has been appointed Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Zhuldyz Suleimenova’s professional career has been closely connected with the education system. She graduated from the Faculty of History at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, later pursued studies in philosophy and political science, and in 2012 defended her PhD in Cultural Studies. During her student years, she headed the student self-governance organization at KazNU and established herself as a leader of youth movements and civic initiatives.

She began her career as a teacher, later headed the Youth Affairs Committee, and served as Deputy Chairperson of the Republican Council of the “Zhas Otan” Youth Wing. Her experience spans both schools and universities, where she worked as a teacher and held leadership positions in educational and extracurricular activities. Since 2012, she worked within the structure of the Autonomous Educational Organization “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools” (NIS), and from 2019 to 2021 served as Principal of the NIS Physics and Mathematics School in Almaty.

As a Member of the Mazhilis of Parliament, she actively engaged in legislative work, raising issues of youth policy, education, and the social sphere.

As a member of the National Commission, Zhuldyz Suleimenova contributed to the development of proposals aimed at improving the education system, fostering youth potential, ensuring social justice, and supporting the institution of the family.
