In order to promote reproductive health and a healthy lifestyle among young people, a meeting titled "KEL TALKLIKE" was held at the Youth Resource Center of the Department of Public Development of Turkestan Region.
Participants included Bayan Zhandosova, a member of the National Commission for Women and Family and Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Kymissai Artykbaeva, a coordinator and volunteer trainer from the Turkestan Regional Y-PEER Network, a medical student at K.A. Yasavi University, and an intern doctor; and Dinara Berdikulova, the chief physician at the Mother and Child Health Center of the Turkestan City Clinic. They discussed the importance of overall reproductive health, mental and social well-being, and the health of the body and soul.
Harmonious growth, development, and reproductive health of children and adolescents are key indicators of the health and social well-being of society. Recent publications indicate negative trends in the growth and development of Kazakhstan's younger generation, which could lead to significant limitations in reproductive and social functions and exacerbate the demographic crisis. Factors affecting the reproductive health of girls include gynecological diseases, physical development disharmony, and delayed puberty.
At the end of the meeting, participants asked questions and exchanged opinions.
