Business Women's Forum Held in West Kazakhstan Region
On November 27, 2024, a regional forum of businesswomen was held in the Bayterek District of the West Kazakhstan Region. The event was organized as part of the work plan of the Commission on Women’s Affairs and Family and Demographic Policy under the Akimat of the West Kazakhstan Region. The organizers of the forum were the Bayterek District Akimat and the Businesswomen's Council under the regional branch of the Atameken Entrepreneurs' Chamber.
The forum opened with a welcoming speech by Elena Ivanovna Tarasenko, Deputy Chairperson of theNational Commission for Women Affairs, Family and Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. She highlighted the critical role of women in entrepreneurship.
The forum was attended by Madi Lukpanovich Tokzhanov, Akim of Bayterek District, along with successful entrepreneurs from the region. Among the active participants were Gulmira Alimgereyeva, Ainur Kinzheyeva, Sholpan Kuspaeva, Aliya Izhanova, and Laura Seitkereyeva. The speakers shared their successful experiences and discussed pressing issues in business development.
The event program was rich and diverse. A highlight of the forum was an exhibition of products and handicrafts created by women entrepreneurs from the Bayterek and Akzhayyk districts, which garnered significant interest from attendees.
At the conclusion of the forum, outstanding women of the region were awarded certificates of appreciation and valuable gifts for their contributions. The event became an essential platform for experience sharing, strengthening business ties, and fostering new initiatives.
