Every woman of reproductive age in Kazakhstan will undergo a medical examination by a district doctor
The Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan has announced the launch of the “Maternal Health” program, which will implement eight key activities. One of the most important components of the program will be the medical examination of women of reproductive age by district doctors to assess their overall health and determine their health index.
Special attention will be given to women planning pregnancy, as well as young girls and adolescents. “The goal of the program is a comprehensive assessment of women’s health, which will strengthen preventive measures and improve the quality of medical care,” the ministry stated.
According to the Ministry of Healthcare, over 10 million women live in Kazakhstan, 4.7 million of whom are of reproductive age.
