Astana, May 26, 2025 —
By Presidential Decree No. 893, dated May 26, 2025, the renewed composition of the National Commission for Women Affairs, Family and Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been officially approved.
The updated membership includes representatives of civil society, academia, NGOs, as well as practicing professionals in law, medicine, psychology, gender, and family policy. In total, eight new members have been appointed, each bringing extensive experience in their respective fields.
The renewed Commission will continue its mission to develop and advance national policy in the areas of family support, gender equality, protection of women’s and children’s rights, and will strengthen interagency cooperation, expert analysis, and the implementation of effective social initiatives.
